Job Description

Reporting into the General Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking, ambitious Candidate to take on a Head of Design Engineering role. We are looking for a well-qualified and driven individual to oversee engineering design projects from initial concept through to build stage.

The main responsibility of this role is to lead and oversee new projects, provide technical support to employees and customers, liaise on technical matters, and produce, maintain, and manage drawings and assembly ensuring that all design-related operations are conducted to the highest calibre.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have-

• Experience in 3D CAD design in industry (SolidWorks)
• Ideally an Engineering Degree
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the development and reporting of your team, setting objectives, and assessing performance.
• Experience in implementing best practices
• Cultivated positive working relationships with employees, peers and superiors.
• A tenacious/self- starter attitude with a will to succeed by doing the right thing for the business and with the ability to work independently and as a team member
